Man murdered in Prattville identified | Crime

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Authorities have identified a man who was found dead following an overnight shooting in Prattville. The victim is identified as Lamarcus Dejuan Ramsey, 20, of Prattville. 

Police responded to a report of gunshots at MLK, Jr. Drive and Wilberforce Avenue at around 9:40 p.m Thursday. When they arrived on the scene, officers discovered Ramsey inside of a vehicle. He'd been shot in the head.

Ramsey was pronounced dead on the scene and his remains were turned over to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy.

The Prattville Police Department says it has two people of interest in this case. No additional information is being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
