PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA)- The Prattville Junior High School BETA Club sponsored its annual food drive this month.
The club set a goal of 2,000 cans. The students and faculty surpassed the goal, collecting approximately 2,200 cans of food.
Members of the Prattville Fire Department picked up the canned food from the school Friday.
Girl Meets Cake, a local Prattville business, sponsored the food drive by donating free cupcakes to the students in the homeroom that collected the most cans. Mrs. Angie Lane's homeroom collected 257 cans, winning the cupcake breakfast
